It's an optical illuuuuuuusion 2003-01-03 | 3:10 p.m. Ah...my optician wasn't as scary as I first anticipated. I went in there and sat for a while, feeling like a naughty child wondering how I was going to explain myself, and then he emerged: "Have you got them in?" "Er...I had a bit of a mishap with one of them, so I've just got the other one in, yeah," And all he did was laugh in an opticiany way and give me a spare lens! But I did get the whole which-colour-looks-clearer-red-or-green interrogation again. So this time I said 'green', then 'red', then 'same', just for a laugh, and then went off after placing an order for a year's worth supply of monthly contact lenses. Hurrah! |
