Every day is a Saturday

It's funny how so much stuff can happen in an incredibly short time. At London Bridge station on Saturday within five minutes I saw someone famous! (Well, the girl who plays Tracy in Coronation Street, followed her until she gave me a dirty look.) And then went outside and saw someone get run over by a car (he was ok after a bit - he hopped back to the pavement.) The dungeon was ok. Definitely not as scary as I had anticipated. I'm a bit squeamish though, and started feeling a bit funny when someone brought out torture weapons that included a device that pulled out tongues, a jaw breaker and a thingy that sliced men's willies off. Glad I don't have a penis then.

Very nearly didn't get home Saturday night too. Spent the evening in a lovely place along the Thames that first had tinkly piano music but then went on to play mellow tunes and left it far too late to comfortably get back. Had about fifteen minutes until the last train and kept finding tube stations shut and getting angered when SOMEONE wanted to buy a Sunday morning newspaper. We got back though and I've spent the past couple of days in a state that cannot be described by any word other than shagdrunkenness.

Also went in to see old work friends today and they have demanded I join them for a night out on Friday. It's only once you revisit a place and the people you knew from there that you realise how much you've missed them.
