Mania 2004-07-13 | 11:58 a.m. A few days ago my mum informed me that there was a 'nest of insects' in the loft. I got very excited thinking the nest might contain multi-coloured beetles with fangs or dragonflies with eighteen wings or something but apparently it's just bees. A man is coming to remove them today. Did anyone else watch the 101 Things Removed from the Human Body yesterday? I mean, how hard is it to NOT get your neck pierced by a javelin? And is it really that impossible to avoid getting the snout of a swordfish lodged in your eye socket? And the man who went out to kill frogs with a pitchfork and ended up forking himself through the face. That's what I call karma. Really, people can be so careless. |
