I graciously accepted her kind offer until she proudly announced

'I found it on the bus!'

and my appetite diminished quicker than you can say guacamole.

I would, however, like to point out that she's a bus driver and not someone who goes on said vehicles purely to seek out other people's groceries.

She laughed at me once though, when I said that sometimes, just sometimes, I treat myself to using the nice cutlery when eating my dinner. You don't get a life more glam than mine.
