I can't even try 2011-05-18 | 9:37 p.m. Nothing like an afternoon off from work! I planned to have a little jaunt to Greenwich on my own but I told New Clerk (yees, him) of my plan and he seemed keen. 5 mins into lunch he texted me to tell me he had the arvo off and could come with, hooray! Cue a walk to Embankment, picking up a picnic on the way, boat ride with food and wine consumption in the sunshine. I'm lonely since splitting up with Blackadder so time with anyone whose presence I feel comfortable in is hugely welcomed. We spent an afternoon in the park, feeding the pigeons with horrible chocolate pancakes (not the sparras), and then being pub-bound. Wonderful. |
